Who I am
I'm Ben Blum, a software engineer and team lead with about nine years of experience building backend systems, mostly in C# and .NET, with Node.js, Angular and SQL alongside. I've led development teams of five as Technical Lead at Matrix and as Development Team Manager at Bynet, and built financial-data and open-banking services at Yael Group. Today I focus on AI engineering: retrieval-augmented assistants with guardrails and evaluation, and a multi-agent team of bots and cloud coding agents that ships real projects, including the ones on this site. I'm open to team-lead roles and to freelance backend and AI work.
Based in Israel.
